Who works at the carnival? Not you, but untamed Lions, contortionists who don’t bend back, funny mirrors that reflect the god-awful truth that reality is fragmented and no reflection reflects who you thought you were before.
In a carnival it is all about Distortion / Contortion. Now we patch up the distortions and contortions of 12 platforms and send you home with something simple, fun, and easy: cotton candy. The sugar dissolves in your mouth like a cloud, I hope the entries on this new blog will do the same.
Outside of the carnival is the crazy world out there. Most people are not aware that the outside world is the real carnival.
But this? This is about the carnival inside.me.
The following entries are just highlights that I think you will like, that you might find important, and pertinent to you in this moment among many moments. More than anything it is a tool and a BLOG for organization, bringing to the surface a theme of urgency, timeliness, and that which is most pressing. This is a place to rest your weary eyes. Otherwise you could get lost in the gargantuan library from which it is set apart. The eye of the story will highlight the new, but also the old–if it is worth repeating.
The carnival has ugly distorted bits, and it can be scary, and I admit that I am the carnival, though I never meant to scare you. I don’t have any inclination to scare you though I know I must have. We need to be a little scared at the carnival, that is what makes it so much fun.
Cotton candy! That will be the primary direction I will take for the purpose of this soft, fluffy, and sweet blog that will come soon.
I will try to help you deal with what is urgent/ timely/ pressing. We’ll see where it goes, for now.
This is “Inside the Carnival.me”.
